Its plastic build, while not as luxurious, is a little lighter and narrower than the Oasis, making it easier to slip into a small bag or large pocket.
Still, at almost half the price, the Paperwhite will be a better bet for a lot of people. The headline feature of the new Paperwhite is its 6.8-inch screen, a big step up from the old Paperwhite’s (and the standard Kindle’s) 6-inch display. Fans of physical page-turn controls will also want to give the Oasis a look, as it’s the only Kindle to give you proper clicky buttons.
